Job summary

Menasha Corporation in Greenville, SC seeks a skilled welder to fabricate and repair metal components using multiple welding techniques across our packaging and supply chain manufacturing environments.

You will interpret blueprints and specifications, inspect welds for structural soundness, start and shut down equipment, work safely with PPE, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned in a team-driven setting.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
• Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
• Start up and shut down machines properly.
• Consistently and safely operate machines at or above standards of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.
• Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine/rack-related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.
• The ability and flexibility to work in non-welding areas when the situation presents itself.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation.
• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
• Contribute to a team effort.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
