Job summary

Delta Star Inc. is seeking a motivated Welder GP to support welding and fabrication activities under the guidance of higher-level welders. If you’re eager to learn welding processes, develop mechanical skills, and contribute to high-quality transformer manufacturing, we want to hear from you!

You’ll assist with preparation, assembly, and basic welding tasks, learn blueprint reading, operate grinders and saws, and help ensure safety standards and documentation are met on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical.
• Ability to operate an overhead crane (training provided).
• Able to read or learn to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assist welders with preparation, assembly, and basic welding tasks.
• Support welding processes using various welders and materials.
• Read blueprints with guidance and maintain safe, organized workspace.
• Complete documentation and paperwork under supervision.
