Job description

We are searching for an experienced Entry Level Welder at our Chicago, IL facility.

This role is perfect for a candidate who has just received their welding certification or has less than 1-2 years of experience and is looking to be part of an amazing team!

The pay range for this position starts at $18/hour. Work schedule: Monday - Friday (7am-3:30pm).

Responsibilities Include

1. Setup machines to exact specifications and prepare them for production.
2. Operate various projection welding machine setups.
3. Arrange job parts by line number and by similar pieces for processing.
4. Check all dimensions/locations of hardware cut-outs and frame handling for accuracy.
5. Mark identification information on materials for communication with fellow employees and end users.
6. Install all required reinforcements, including but not limited to hinge and strike reinforcements, various kinds of anchors, corner gussets, and closer reinforcements.
