Overview

We are searching for an experienced Entry Level Welder at our Chicago, IL facility.

This role is perfect for a candidate who just received their welding certification or has less than 1-2 years of experience and is looking to be a part of an amazing team!

The pay range for this position is starting at $18/hour - Monday - Friday (7am-3:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to exact specifications and prepare machines for production.
• Operate various projection welding machine setups.
• Arrange job parts by line number and by like pieces for processing.
• Check all dimensions/locations of hardware cut-outs and frame handing for accuracy.
• Mark identification information on material for communication with fellow employees as well as end users.
• Install all required reinforcements, including but not limited to hinge and strike reinforcements, various kinds of anchors, corner gussets and closer reinforcements.

Requirements

• Must be proficient at reading work orders.
• Must have a concern for quality control.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
