Overview

We are seeking an Entry Level Welder at our Chicago, IL facility. This position is ideal for candidates who recently received their welding certification or have less than 1-2 years of experience and are eager to join a great team! The starting pay range is $18/hour, working Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Set up machines to exact specifications and prepare for production.
• Operate various projection welding machines.
• Arrange job parts by line number and similar pieces for processing.
• Check dimensions and locations of hardware cut-outs and frames for accuracy.
• Mark identification information on materials for communication with team members and end users.
• Install reinforcements such as hinges, strike reinforcements, anchors, gussets, and closers.

• Proficiency in reading work orders.
• Concern for quality control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
