Job summary

Garver in Greenville, SC is seeking an Entry-Level Project Engineer to join our Water team. You will support design deliverables, perform calculations, and collaborate with a Project Manager and multi-discipline engineers to exceed client expectations.

The role requires a ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or biosystems engineering and an EIT or the ability to obtain one within six months. Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project/Outlook is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or biological/biosystems engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Registered as an Engineer In Training (EIT) or able to obtain in the next 6 months.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with engineering calculations and detailed design.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager and multi-discipline design engineers.
  • Produce design phase deliverables: reports, technical memoranda, design manuals, plans, sections, details and specifications.
  • Work with clients to ensure expectations are exceeded.
