Job summary

Alliance Water Resources is hiring a Utility Worker I in Inez, KY to inspect, sample, maintain and repair drinking water treatment and wastewater facilities and equipment. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with On-Call and Standby hours.

The role requires troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, conducting rounds, and performing preventive maintenance. A valid driver’s license and ability to learn quickly are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Willing to be a team player.
• Able to learn new concepts quickly.
• Able to adapt to varying daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems.
• Conducts rounds to monitor operations and evaluate equipment.
• Maintenance and repair of pumps, meters, and related equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Inspects and installs water and sewer lines and appurtenances.
• Completes paperwork and maintains records.
