Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Operator I requires Colorado Class “D” Water Plant Operator and Class 1 Distribution Systems Certifications within 1 year.
• Operator II requires Colorado Class “C” Water Plant Operator and Class 2 Distribution Certifications.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record and ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water treatment plants and distribution systems.
• Perform water sampling for lab analysis and ensure water quality compliance.
• Read, repair, and maintain water meters, valves, hydrants, pumps, and related equipment.
• On-call for after-hours emergencies and coordinate with contractors.
