Job summary

The Downtown Boulder Partnership seeks a Water Treatment Plant Operator – Grade 13 to ensure the delivery of high‑quality potable water. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a Class III Water Treatment Certification, and a valid Georgia driver’s license, with the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining plant equipment, performing laboratory tests, calculating dosages, recording data, preparing work orders, and following safety and QA/QC

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• Maintains Class III Water Treatment Certification.
• Valid Georgia Driver's License.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment in the water treatment and transmission system.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain the QA/QC program.
• Calculate dosage and perform general mathematical calculations.
• Read, record, and prepare forms, logs, and reports.
• Input and retrieve data from computer and prepare work orders.
• Follow safety procedures and explain chemical handling.
• Support supervision by carrying out assigned tasks.
