Job summary

BBA Water Consultants, Inc. in Englewood, CO is seeking an entry-level Water Resources Engineer or Hydrologist to support day-to-day water operations, planning, and Water Court litigation. You will work with a team focused on Colorado water resources, rights, and hydrology.

The ideal candidate has a BS or MS in civil/agricultural engineering, hydrology, or water resources, and 0–5 years of experience. Proficiency in Excel and GIS is preferred; licensure pursuit is encouraged.

Qualifications

• BS and/or MS in civil or agricultural engineering, hydrology, or water resources.
• Zero to five years of experience in Colorado water rights and/or other areas of water resources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident and self-motivated with strong time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; programming experience is a plus.
• Experience related to Colorado water rights administration, Colorado water law, and historical use analyses preferred.
• Familiarity with GIS, geology, and well drilling is a plus.
• Registration as a PE or EI with plans to pursue licensure; PH certification for hydrologists is a plus.

Located in Englewood, CO, with a branch office in Salida, CO . BBA provides services to clients in the Western United States, mostly , but not exclusively, within the State of Colorado. We are seeking applications for a full-time position as a water resources engineer or hydrologist from applicants with the following skills and qualifications :

BS and/ or MS in civil or agricultural engineering, hydrology, or water resources.

Zero to Five years of experience in Colorado water rights and/or other areas of water resources .
