Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals seeks a Colorado Water Resources Engineering Leader to join an employee-owned firm in Denver. You will lead and grow a Colorado water rights engineering practice, serving as the senior technical voice on water rights and water supply while guiding strategy on Colorado projects and building client relationships across the Rocky Mountain region.

Job description

Colorado Water Resources Engineering Leader Location: Denver, CO| Type: Full-time HybridSalary: $160, 000-$190, 000 per year, plus annual performance bonus

The Opportunity Lead and grow a Colorado water rights engineering practice at an employee-owned engineering and environmental sciences consulting firm. You'll be the senior technical voice on water rights and water supply, guide strategy on Colorado projects, and build the client relationships that expand the firm's presence across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. You'll also collaborate with teams on the firm's national platform. This role reports to the Regional Director.

Lead and Grow Core Services

• Water supply planning and development
• Water budgets and water accounting frameworks
• River and stream system supply modeling
• Water transfers and strategic supply planning
• Water rights valuations Colorado water rights engineering: yield studies, changes, augmentation plans and accounting Expert analysis, testimony support and litigation support

Other Details

• Build and manage a team to deliver an established pipeline of work

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Colorado water rights frameworks and administration rface water modeling and water balance modeling

Work Environment Fast-paced setting with a high-volume workload and frequent short deadlines Occasional travel, including overnight, for client meetings and site visits (up to 25%) Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and to sit or stand for extended periods

Pay Base salary of $160, 000-$190, 000, based on skills, experience, qualifications and location Annual performance bonus tied to individual and company performance
