Job summary

BBA Water Consultants, Inc. (BBA) is seeking a full-time hydrogeologist to support well drilling projects and hydrogeologic investigations in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. The position emphasizes collaboration with clients and staff, data analysis, and clear communication.

Candidates should have a geology or hydrogeology degree, 0–3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Excel. GIS, MODFLOW, and licensure pursuit are a plus.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in geology or hydrogeology.
• Zero to three years of experience in Colorado and/or other areas of water resources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Programming experience is a plus.
• Skills related to GIS, MODFLOW, and well drilling are a plus.
• Registration as a GIT or plans to pursue licensure as a professional geologist.

Responsibilities

• Assist with upcoming well drilling projects along with ongoing hydrogeologic investigations and reviews in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain area.
• Collaborate with clients and team members on hydrogeologic assessments and project planning.
• Support data analysis, reporting, and quality control for hydrogeology projects.

BBA Water Consultants, Inc. (BBA) is seeking applications to immediately fill a full-time position as a hydrogeologist to assist with upcoming well drilling projects along with ongoing hydrogeologic investigations and reviews in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain area.

A little information about us: BBA Water Consultants, Inc. is a consulting firm specializing in water rights, water resources planning, and ground and surface water hydrology. Located in Englewood, CO, with a branch office in Salida, CO. BBA provides services to clients in the Western United States, mostly, but not exclusively, within the State of Colorado. BBA’s clients include a variety of public and private entities, including municipalities, ranchers, ski resorts, local and federal government, and others. We are seeking applications for a full-time position as a geologist/hydrogeologist from applicants with the following skills and qualifications:

• BS or MS in geology or hydrogeology.
