Job summary

Augusta Richmond County in Augusta, Georgia seeks an entry-level Water Laboratory Analyst to support routine testing and regulatory compliance for the water utility. You will perform chemical, physical, and bacteriological analyses, prepare media, and assist in data reporting under supervision of the Water Quality Manager.

Responsibilities include sample collection, quality control, calibration-based maintenance, and documenting results.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six months of water analysis or wet chemistry lab experience.
• Georgia Water Laboratory Analyst Certification within 15 months.
• Driver's license with good driving history; GA/SC license within 30 days if out-of-state.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, physical, and bacteriological examination of water samples.
• Test, record, and report data with quality control checks.
• Maintain logs, inventory, and equipment, and ensure calibration and sterilization.
• Assist in regulatory compliance and data analysis under supervision.
