Job summary

AECOM is hosting an entry-level engineer opportunity in the Water group as part of a hiring event in Philadelphia, PA. The role supports water resources, wastewater treatment, and distribution projects, with a Spring/Summer 2027 start and a hybrid work model.

These positions require a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree, a valid US driver’s license, and can lead to growth through regional projects across the Northeast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE).
• GIS and CAD skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks applying standard techniques to engineering tasks and develop professional judgment.
• Develop design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles using Civil 3D, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit.
• Assist with water and wastewater treatment evaluation and design.
• Evaluate pump stations; design and model water distribution Systems.
• Travel occasionally to sites in the northeastern US and offices.
