Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Engineer in the Water group for the Northeast region. This role supports water resources, water/wastewater treatment, and distribution projects across multiple offices with a hybrid work model.

The position begins in Spring/Summer 2027 and requires a Civil/Environmental/Construction management background, a driving license, and readiness to travel. Training and development are emphasized within a global infrastructure leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments with standard techniques to carry out engineering tasks and develop judgment.
• Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles using Civil 3D, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit.
• Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.
• Water and/or Wastewater treatment evaluation and design.
• Willingness and ability to travel to sites in the northeastern US and offices in the Northeast.
