Job summary

The City of Caldwell Wastewater Department is seeking a Wastewater Operator I to join our team in Caldwell, Idaho. You will perform entry-level and semi-skilled tasks in operation, maintenance and repair of wastewater equipment at treatment facilities, including SCADA monitoring and occasional heavy equipment operation.

• Operate and monitor plant equipment and SCADA systems; inspect and document equipment performance.
• Cross-train with collection system operators and assist in treatment plant processes.
• Respond to 24-hour on-call and standby; follow safety and regulatory procedures.
• Maintain logs and records of findings, activities and test results.
