The ideal candidate holds a Class III Wastewater Operator License in Idaho and has supervisory experience. The position requires on-call duties, adherence to safety regulations, and collaboration with city staff and regulators.

Qualifications

• At least four (4) years' experience wastewater operations.
• At least 6 months' work experience in a supervisory and/or trainer capacity.
• Possession of a Class III Wastewater Treatment Operator License issued by the State of Idaho.
• Must complete .6 continuing Education Units in Wastewater annually.
• The position requires pre-employment background check, physical and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair plant and collection system equipment.
• Supervise and train plant operators, collection systems operators, and lab technicians.
• Respond to 24-hour on-call and standby.
• Monitor SCADA system and plant alarms.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal and local regulations.
