Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Waste Process Technician I in the United States (Gary, IN area) to safely perform entry-level tasks in waste processing. You will off-load inbound trucks, sample waste streams, and operate forklifts and related equipment, while ensuring compliance and proper documentation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (GED if relevant), 1+ year experience, and the ability to pass respirator fit tests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1+ year of experience.
• Able to pass respirator fit test.
• Ability to utilize NetSuite.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and safety/compliance duties.
• Operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts in line with policies and OSHA.
• Safely operate mobile equipment within facility boundaries.
• Off-load inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• Process inbound material using facility and mobile equipment.
• Perform waste stream QA/QC and lab analyses for receiving/shipping.
• Submit facility paperwork for regulatory and safety records.
