Job summary

McLane Co. in Memphis is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Maintenance I to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment and facility systems in the distribution center.

You'll help track parts, support refrigeration, lighting, dock doors, and battery charging, and gain hands-on experience with McLane Maintenance Connection. The role offers steady hours, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience with material handling equipment.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Experience with distribution center industrial equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Basic computer skills with MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Track spare parts usage, inventory and work orders according to policy.
• Assist with DC maintenance needs such as refrigeration, plumbing, lighting, welding, dock doors, air systems, racking, tote washer, and air spray painting.
• Maximize battery availability by managing charging cycles and rotation.
• Perform inspections and cleaning; conduct specific gravity checks; evaluate cable serviceability and repair damage.
• Develop knowledge of the McLane Maintenance Connection database.
• Other duties may be assigned.
