Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist (Pit Crew) in Dallas/Richardson, TX to perform scheduled maintenance on complex wafer fab tools, adhering to best-known methods and tracking parts ahead of time. You will work with engineering and manufacturing teams, read technical drawings, and pursue certifications with a clear training plan.

The role is 12-hour compressed shifts, including weekends and holidays, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule.
• Flexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results.
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled maintenance work adhering to the approved best-known method for all tasks completed.
• Track and assemble parts required to complete maintenance ahead of time.
• Complete qualifications required to bring equipment fully out of maintenance state and into production.
• Track critical data from performed maintenance to define improvement opportunities for optimal PM performance.
• Have an on-the-job training plan that provides a clear path to required certifications and advancement.
