Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated in Sherman, TX is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist (Pit Crew) to perform maintenance on complex tool sets in wafer fab clean rooms and support production. This role requires reading and interpreting technical instructions, working 12-hour compressed shifts including weekends and holidays, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive PM performance.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule.
• Flexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays.
• Preferred qualifications: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results.
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled maintenance work adhering to the approved best-known method for all tasks completed.
• Track and assemble of parts required to complete maintenance ahead of time.
• Complete qualifications required to bring equipment fully out of maintenance state and into production.
• Track critical data from performed maintenance to define improvement opportunities for optimal PM performance.
• Have an on-the-job training plan that provides a clear path to required certifications and advancement.
