Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support operations in a wafer fab clean room. You will execute scheduled maintenance, track parts, and bring equipment back into production.

The role requires reading technical instructions and mechanical drawings, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams, and pursuing certifications and advancement through on-the-job training. This position is based in Dallas, TX and requires flexible shift availability.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and maintenance aptitude.
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to work 12-hour compressed schedules and shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled maintenance work adhering to the approved best-known method for all tasks completed.
• Track and assemble parts required to complete maintenance ahead of time.
• Complete qualifications required to bring equipment fully out of maintenance state and into production.
• Track critical data from performed maintenance to identify opportunities for improvement in PM performance.
• On-the-job training plan provides a clear path to required certifications and advancement.
