Qualifications

• 1–3 years of commercial voice and data cabling experience.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and low-voltage installation practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an installation team.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Dependable attendance and professional communication.
• Interest in developing skills in structured cabling, fiber, and related low-voltage technologies.

Responsibilities

• Installing and routing voice and data cabling in commercial environments.
• Assisting with the installation of Cat6 and fiber-optic cabling.
• Pulling, dressing, routing, and supporting cable.
• Assisting with terminating and labeling structured cabling.
• Installing J-hooks, cable supports, and related pathway components.
• Following prints, work instructions, and direction from lead technicians and supervisors.
• Maintaining an organized and safe work area.
• Learning industry installation standards and best practices.
