Valvoline Instant Oil Change is hiring a Vehicle Service Specialist in Plainfield, IN. You’ll deliver top-tier customer service while performing preventative maintenance on vehicles as part of a friendly team.

No prior automotive experience is required; we provide award-winning training to teach oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotation, battery replacement, lights and wiper inspections, and an 18-point safety check.

What you’ll need to keep moving forwardFrom day one, you’ll get hands‑on training and support to thrive as a Lube Technician. All you need to do is bring your positive attitude, attention to detail, and passion for learning—and we’ll help you every step of the way.

We seek team members with:

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)
• An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer‑focused team
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
• We expect you can:
  • Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
  • Be comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment
