Job summary

Citi’s Universal Banker role in North Miami Beach, FL is an entry-level position designed to support sales and service activities within the branch. You will assist with basic account openings and resolve service issues while building customer loyalty.

The role emphasizes accurate transactions, compliance with bank policies, and opportunities to refer clients to segment partners. Strong communication in English (and Spanish preferred) is beneficial, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required.
• Clearly and concisely communicates in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to resolve account issues for internal/external customers.
• Execute financial transactions per bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve complaints promptly.
• Support branch sales/service activities through seminars, micromarketing events, campaigns and product initiatives.
• Adhere to operational controls to ensure safety and security of assets.
• Assess risk in business decisions and escalate control issues with transparency.
