Job summary

Citi in San Francisco is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker to support sales and service activities within the customer service team, fostering customer loyalty and helping grow consumer relationships.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Retail banking or similar experience required
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve complaints promptly
• Support sales/service activities within the branch through seminars, micromarketing events, campaigns
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure safety and security of assets
• Assess risk and uphold the firm's reputation and compliance
