Job summary

Citi, in San Francisco, is seeking a part-time Universal Banker to assist in basic account openings and customer service. You’ll execute transactions, resolve issues, and identify sales opportunities to build loyalty and drive branch goals.

The role requires 1–3 years in retail banking or similar, plus strong written and verbal communication skills. The position is on-site in San Francisco with a salary range disclosed for full-time, prorated for part-time hours.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in banking or retail sectors.
• Previous retail banking or similar experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account openings for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions per bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve issues promptly.
• Support branch sales/service activities during seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to safeguard assets.
• Escalate and report control issues with transparency.
