Job summary

The Universal Banker at Citi in San Francisco is an entry-level role supporting sales, products, and service activities in coordination with the customer service team to build loyalty and grow retail banking relations.

You will assist with account opening, resolve service issues, process transactions, and help generate sales opportunities while ensuring compliance with bank policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Retail banking experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions per bank policies.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners as appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve issues promptly.
• Support sales/service activities in-branch events and campaigns.
• Adhere to controls to ensure safety and compliance of assets.
• Assess risk and escalate control issues with transparency.
