Job summary
A leading electrical service provider is looking for an entry-level Underground Equipment Operator to assist in the construction and maintenance of electrical underground distribution systems. Candidates must be willing to work outdoors in varying conditions, capable of lifting over 50 lbs, and have basic knowledge of high voltage systems. This role requires effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards. Opportunities for overtime and travel may arise depending on customer needs.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of recent field experience required.
Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work in inclement weather.
Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License permit within 60 days.
Responsibilities
Perform construction, maintenance, or repair of underground electrical systems.
Assist with installation and hookup of transformers.
Maintain vehicles and tools in working order.

Ability to work with energized high voltage systems
