Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or equivalent, graduate from accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
• Preferred Education: N/A
• Minimum Experience: 0-6 months
• Preferred Experience: 6-12 months
• Required License: ARRT or ARDMS certification or eligible and receive certification within 1 year of employment
• Required Certification: CPR

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Performs the duties of an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.
• Prepares room and equipment for patients.
• Processes images and sends them to PACS for interpretation.
• Restocks rooms with essential supplies.
• Does QA/QC for X-Ray as necessary.
• Ability to speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
