84 Lumber Company is seeking an entry-level truss builder to assemble roof and floor trusses and frame walls in a fast-paced production setting.

You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, operate hand and power tools, and ensure work meets quality and safety standards while earning benefits after a probation period.

No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. Shift options and pay are listed in the posting, with potential for advancement to lead roles over time.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and stand long hours.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assemble roof and floor trusses using pre-cut lumber and metal connector plates.
• Read and interpret blueprints or work orders.
• Operate saws, nail guns, and other hand/power tools safely.
• Ensure trusses meet quality control standards.
• Work in a fast-paced production environment to meet daily quotas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
