TGW Logistics is seeking an entry-level Controls Commissioning Engineer I to join their team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role involves programming PLCs and HMIs, performing hardware and software commissioning, and supporting integrated control systems used in industrial material handling.

Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in a related field and have some experience within the material handling industry. Additionally, a willingness to travel frequently is necessary. TGW offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a controls-related field.
• Experience within the material handling industry preferred.
• Ability to read e-drawings and AutoCAD drawings.

Responsabilités

• Programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
• Commission hardware and software.
• Perform electrical installation and adjustments.

Connaissances

Programming of PLCs

Experience with HMI and SCADA systems

Basic understanding of electrical circuits

Basic understanding of mechanical designs

Willingness to travel

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
