Job summary

Sambatek, LLC is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to join our transportation team in Minnesota. You’ll work with experienced engineers on highway projects, preparing documents and learning industry standards to grow your skills in a collaborative environment.

In-office training during the hybrid work phase, with an hourly compensation range of $33-$37 and overtime at 1.5x. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 0–3 years of experience are required; EIT is preferred and OpenRoads Designer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of OpenRoads Designer.
• Self-motivated with strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to highway projects in preliminary design or plan development.
• Measure, calculate, and tabulate quantities for bidding.
• Participate in quality review processes.
• Perform CAD drafting in OpenRoads Designer.
• Support task leads or project managers as part of a team.
• Occasional field time for construction inspection and site visibility.
