Job summary

Bowman Consulting seeks an entry-level Transportation Engineer I to join our team in Boston, Taunton, Westfield, and Lincoln markets. You will work with senior staff on transportation projects, develop plans, maps, and data analyses, and support client engagements across multimodal initiatives.

Ideal candidates include those with a civil engineering degree and an EIT mindset, ready to grow in a collaborative, client-focused environment with strong QA/QC discipline and field exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Academic or internship experience in transportation discipline preferred.
• Entry level position; no prior experience required.
• EIT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project team on transportation projects and prepare plans.
• Analyze data, prepare maps and graphics for meetings and client interactions.
• Assist in preparation of grant applications and related project documentation.
• Support QA/QC and coordinate with internal/disciplines as needed.
• Participate in field visits, data collection and site observations.
