Job summary

Intellectual Concepts is seeking an entry-level Transportation Design Engineer to join the team in Atlanta, GA or Birmingham, AL. You will be mentored by technical experts and assist in preparing roadway design plans, engineering reports, studies and analyses across a range of areas.

As a junior engineer, you will gain experience with OpenRoads, MicroStation, and related software while contributing to transportation projects and reports under guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Willing to obtain EIT certification.
• Experience with OpenRoads preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual designs and construction plans utilizing OpenRoads design software.
• Create engineering design including geometric design of highways and streets, drainage design and related tasks.
• Complete transportation planning reports and roadway safety studies.
• Develop EPSC plans, inspections and stormwater projects as needed.
• Use MicroStation, OpenRoads and related software.
