Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation) required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency using MicroStation required; Geopak and OpenRoads experience preferred.
• Experience with MDOT SHA, MdTA, and/or VDOT plans preferred.
• Working knowledge of MDOT SHA, MdTA, and/or VDOT standards preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
• FE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design of horizontal and vertical alignments.
• Assist drainage systems, erosion and sediment control, and traffic schemes.
• Prepare construction and right‑of‑way acquisition plans for various projects.
• Collaborate with project team to deliver high-quality designs.
