Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Class C Lineman Transmission to support construction, maintenance and repair of electrical transmission systems. The role involves working at various locations and may require travel to another state based on customer demands.

The position requires physical strength, the ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, and a solid understanding of transmission safety procedures. Training and PPE will be provided as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• 1-year minimum of field experience.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to travel long distances on short notice, when required.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance or repair on energized and de-energized transmission work.
• String overhead wire and set poles.
• Work at heights and in various locations.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE as required.
