C-Hawkk Construction, Llc is looking for an Entry-Level Traffic Control Specialist to manage day-to-day work zone setups, perform repairs, and assist with traffic control. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic and safe driving practices.

This position requires effective communication and adherence to safety procedures. A High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a valid driver’s license are mandatory. Competitive benefits include paid health insurance, boot allowance, and more.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position in the Traffic Control Specialist job series.
• One year construction, road maintenance, and/or manual labor experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day work zone setup and maintenance.
• Perform basic repair and maintenance tasks for traffic signs.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of traffic control signs.
• Communicate effectively by telephone or other devices.
• Operate variety of trucks and equipment.
• Train and obtain knowledge of quantity sheets.

Skills

Reading and understanding route maps and street signs

Safe and efficient operation and maintenance of trucks and equipment

Following safe work practices

Making accurate basic arithmetic calculations

Establishing effective working relationships

Following verbal and written instructions

Knowledge of traffic control techniques

Understanding of OSHA safety rules

Report to work at the designated start time

Strong work ethic

Valid Driver's License
