Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED; Associate’s degree a plus.
• 0-2 years’ experience in a material testing laboratory environment.
• Basic technical acumen with the ability to follow lab processes, test specifications, and perform routine tests.
• Able to operate various types of lab equipment and tools with supervision.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to follow direction and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to operate across other internal departments or functions.
• Working knowledge of GLP, maintain Lab ISO and process Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sample preparation and assist in performing tests.
• Gather data required for performing routine tests and interpret data on routine pass/fail tests.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of the lab equipment.
• Update chemical and equipment inventories.
• Use tools and technology to track work.
• Other duties as assigned
