Job summary

MGA Research Corporation in Manassas, VA is seeking an entry-level Test Technician to support hands-on testing in collaboration with engineers and customers. The role involves setting up tests, gathering data, and reporting findings in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with hand and power tools, plus basic computer operation. This full-time position offers growth opportunities and travel between MGA sites.

Qualifications

Authorized to work in the United States.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Experience with general computer operation and ability to learn new software.
Keen attention to detail, coupled with a strong ability to identify errors.
Ability to “self-start” and take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

Work with engineers and customers in a “hands on” environment to conduct tests from setup, gathering measurements and data, configuring tests, and reporting.
Document tests digitally by capturing clear photos and high-speed video footage.
Install instrumentation, test gear, and assorted components aligning with engineering specifications.
Communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and global customers.
