Brightwing is seeking an entry-level Test Technician to support hands-on testing in a technical environment in Troy, MI. You will prepare equipment, conduct tests, and document findings to support product performance, durability and safety evaluations.

Technicians work from setup through completion, collaborating with team members to ensure testing is completed accurately and on schedule. The role requires ability to lift 50 pounds, operate hand and power tools, and adapt to evolving project

Qualifikationen

• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently on a regular basis.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and work independently when needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and handling test equipment and materials.

• Prepare test samples, equipment, fixtures, and vehicles for testing activities.
• Install and utilize measurement devices and sensors to monitor performance and collect data.
• Follow established procedures and maintain accurate documentation of testing activities and results.
• Communicate test progress, observations, and potential issues to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet project timelines.
• Inspect, maintain, and monitor testing equipment to support reliable operation.
• Work collaboratively with other teams and facilities to maintain consistent procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Adapt to changing project requirements and schedules, including occasional extended hours.
