Particle Measuring Systems in Niwot, CO is seeking an Associate Test Engineer to join a research and development laboratory team. You will gain hands-on experience with PMS air and liquid particle counting systems and related optical, electrical, and mechanical technologies under senior guidance.

The role emphasizes executing test plans, operating equipment, troubleshooting, and documenting results while rotating across product lines and teams to broaden exposure.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Entry-level or 0–2 years of experience.
• Familiarity with lab test equipment and measurement principles.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans for new product development and sustaining projects under guidance.
• Perform functional, environmental, calibration and reliability testing on prototypes and production units.
• Operate lab equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, spectrophotometers, laser tools) to collect data.
• Document results and assist in root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
