SURGE Staffing is seeking a Lead Quality Inspector to oversee daily operations for a team of Inspectors, Sorters, Samplers, and Weighers. The Lead will help ensure employees perform tasks accurately and efficiently while upholding quality and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Must have lead, supervisory, or team leadership experience in quality or production.
• Experience directing a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide direction to Inspectors, Sorters, Samplers, and Weighers.
• Monitor daily work activities to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with coordinating employee assignments and daily workflow.
• Ensure employees follow established procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor inspection, sorting, sampling, and weighing activities.
• Communicate work expectations and provide guidance to team members.
• Identify and communicate issues or concerns to management.
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
• Assist with addressing employee questions and operational concerns.
• Support management with daily production and quality needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift

• Ability to follow procedures and ensure others are following established processes.
• Dependable and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday day shift with occasional weekend work.
