Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) and Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) are seeking a motivated Recruiting Specialist to join our Corporate Recruiting team in Abingdon, MD.

This entry-level opportunity offers hands-on training and a path to grow within engineering and technical recruiting. You will source candidates, schedule interviews, pre-screen, and assist with onboarding while learning our processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or related field preferred.
• Personable, proactive, and able to learn recruiting processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and basic software/tools.
• US citizen or permanent resident; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, and other recruiting platforms
• Coordinate and schedule virtual and in-person interviews
• Pre-screen candidates and conduct reference checks
• Prepare and send offer letters and coordinate the offer process
• Post and manage job openings through our ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other sites
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information in the ATS
• Support onboarding by coordinating new hire paperwork and pre-employment requirements
• Learn about the engineering, environmental, surveying, construction, and related positions we recruit for
• Stay current on recruiting trends, tools, and best practices
