Lockheed Martin Corp. seeks an entry-level Systems Engineer to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile program at Naval Base Kitsap – Bangor near Silverdale, WA. You will provide engineering support for sustainment of Trident II systems, working with Navy and Lockheed Martin customers.

You will analyze problems, guide operations, and apply mechanical or electrical engineering principles while traveling to related sites as needed. A Secret clearance is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain interim Secret clearance and maintain final DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to technical problems of varying complexity in a team environment under guidance.
• Provide guidance for support equipment, operations, disassembly, assembly, maintenance, and repair.
• Offer technical guidance during isolation and correction of discrepant conditions and defects.
• Apply mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles and concepts.
• Flexibility for variation in work scope and shifts.
