Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Washington state is seeking a Systems Engineering Field Tech Support Sr. to join the Fleet Ballistic Missile Systems Integration Team at the Bangor Naval Submarine Base.

This role provides on-site engineering and technical support to deployed submarines, maintains SP27 equipment and missile subsystems, and collaborates on documentation, testing, and repairs. Qualifications

• Familiarity with Mechanical Support Equipment installation and removal.
• Familiarity with Systems level testing.
• Interim Secret Clearance prior to start.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance; US Citizenship required.
• Ability to climb ladders and access limited spaces to perform work.
• Citizenship and security clearances are required for access.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site engineering and technical support to the deployed squadron and assigned submarines.
• Support operation and maintenance of SP27 Missile Subsystem Surface Support Equipment and related systems.
• Diagnose and resolve Fleet technical problems including FDCR, TFR, and TFRCARs.
• Perform authorized on-site maintenance and emergency repairs onboard SSBNs using URP.
• Inspect, evaluate and maintain SP27 subsystem tools for at-sea missile repairs.
• Coordinate with SSP and contractors on documentation and design changes for FBM weapons systems.
