Job summary

Leidos in Odenton, MD seeks an entry-level Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, and testing of mission-critical systems in a SCIF environment. You will work directly with Government stakeholders on high-priority national security missions, contributing to requirements analysis, developing technical documentation, and supporting prototype development.

Your responsibilities include developing system requirements and CONOPs, supporting data-flow diagrams, and assisting with ICDs,

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Engineering degree (or CS/Math/Physics with experience as applicable)
• For non-ABET programs, degree must include calculus and 5 of 18 specified technical areas
• Active TS/SCI/polygraph clearance required
• Ability to work in a SCIF environment
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS as mission requires

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing system requirements, specifications, and CONOPs based on stakeholder engagement
• Support functional analysis, interface definition, and data-flow diagrams and system design artifacts
• Contribute to integration and testing following NSA Test and Evaluation policies; develop test plans and analyze results
• Assist with configuration management, troubleshooting, and implementation of system changes
• Support development of Interface Control Documents (ICDs), XML schemas, and metadata models

Education

ABET-accredited Engineering degree with no experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics + 1 year experience

Non-ABET calculus requirement (differential and integral) + 5 of 18 areas
