Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Certifications in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, and VMware Certified Technical Associate are highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configuration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) and scripting to automate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers; deploy OS images and manage patching.
• Monitor server health, respond to alerts, and ensure system availability.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to protect data.
• Assist with user accounts, permissions, and access controls per security policies.
• Troubleshoot server issues and coordinate with vendors or support teams.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
• Participate in IT projects related to server infrastructure and upgrades.
• Stay current with IT trends and best practices to support operations.
