Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a System Administrator to support the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems in a mission-focused technical environment. This role offers early-career professionals hands-on system administration experience and exposure to critical systems in a DoD-aligned setting.

The ideal candidate will assist with daily system administration tasks, provide end‑user technical support, and help ensure high availability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; five years of System Administrator experience may substitute.
Ability to support the implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, configuration, and daily operation of IT systems.
DoD 8570 compliance with a minimum of IAT Level II is required.
Ability to accommodate shift work as needed, including weekend support.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Assist with the daily configuration, operation, and administration of system environments.
Provide technical assistance to users accessing and operating IT systems.
Monitor systems and help identify, document, and resolve technical issues.
Support routine system maintenance and operational activities.
Work collaboratively with technical team members to maintain reliable system performance.
Provide shift-based and weekend support as operational needs require.
