Job summary
Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a System Administrator to support operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems in a mission-focused environment. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for hands-on system administration experience.
The role involves assisting with daily system administration, user support, and ensuring availability of critical systems; some shift and weekend work may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is desired; five years of system admin experience may substitute.
- Ability to support the implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, configuration, and daily operation.
- DoD 8570 compliance with a minimum of IAT Level II is required.
- Ability to accommodate shift work, including weekend support.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Assist daily configuration, operation, and administration of system environments.
- Provide technical assistance to users accessing IT systems.
- Monitor systems and help identify, document, and resolve issues.
- Support routine system maintenance and operational activities.
- Work with the technical team to maintain reliable system performance.
- Provide shift-based and weekend support as needed.
